Hole saw Proline 27230, diameter 30 mm, 1-piece
Proline 27230 hole saw with a 30 mm diameter is a single-piece diamond-cutting tool designed for making precise circular openings in hard surfaces. The cup features vacuum-soldered diamond grit for effective cutting of ceramic tiles, stone tiles and similar stoneware. A threaded M14 shank allows direct mounting on an angle grinder; drilling is intended to be performed dry for optimal performance and to avoid damage.
The vacuum-soldered diamond edge ensures durable cutting performance and consistent hole quality on abrasive materials. The M14 threaded shank gives stable attachment to angle grinders without additional adapters, while compatibility with a centering-drill adapter enables use with combi drills when using the appropriate adapter and centering drill. Single-piece construction reduces vibration and improves control during cutting in tile and stone surfaces.
Secure the Proline 27230 hole saw on an angle grinder using the M14 thread or on a combi drill only when using the correct adapter and centering drill compatible with a minimum hole saw diameter of 20 mm. Mark the drilling position on the tile or stoneware, set the tool perpendicular to the surface and start at low speed to create a guide groove. Apply steady, moderate pressure while maintaining dry operation; avoid excessive force and let the diamond edge do the cutting. After completing the hole, withdraw the saw carefully and remove debris from the cut.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, dust mask and gloves). Ensure the workpiece is firmly supported and clamp if necessary. For best results on large tiles, perform progressive cutting with light pressure and avoid overheating the tool by allowing short pauses during extended use.
