Hole Saw Proline 27260 — diameter 60 mm, 1 piece
Proline 27260 is a single-piece hole saw with a 60 mm diameter designed for cutting precise circular openings in hard surfaces. The blade uses a vacuum-soldered diamond cutting edge and is supplied with a shank featuring an M14 thread for direct mounting on angle grinders. The tool is intended for cutting through ceramic tiles, stone tiles and stoneware and can be adapted for use with combi drills via an adapter with a centering drill when compatible adapters are available. Dry drilling is recommended for this model.
The vacuum-soldered diamond edge ensures consistent cutting performance and durability on abrasive surfaces. Direct M14 threaded shank allows quick installation on angle grinders without additional couplings. The single-piece construction reduces vibration and improves concentricity for cleaner, more precise round holes. Designed specifically for hard tiled materials, it maintains cutting efficiency when used with appropriate drilling practices.
Secure the hole saw to a compatible power tool using the M14 threaded shank or an appropriate adapter. Mark the centre of the intended hole on the workpiece. If using a combi drill, fit an adapter with a centering drill where applicable; for direct angle grinder use, mount the hole saw on the grinder spindle. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then maintain steady, controlled rotation. Apply light, even pressure to avoid overheating and chipping. As specified for this model, perform drilling in dry conditions; monitor cutting progress and allow the tool to cool periodically to preserve the diamond edge.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Ensure the workpiece is firmly clamped and the power tool is suitable for use with M14 threaded accessories. For extended tool life, avoid excessive pressure and allow cooling pauses during prolonged cutting sessions.
