Ring wrench Proline 36008 — hand tool, 1 piece
Proline 36008 is a single-piece ring wrench designed to provide secure closed-loop contact with fasteners for reliable torque transfer. Forged construction with chromium plating and a satin finish delivers corrosion resistance and a balanced surface texture. The wrench meets the dimensional requirements of the German DIN 838 standard and is intended for general mechanical maintenance, assembly and repair tasks where a ring-type spanner is required.
The forged body improves strength and durability compared with stamped alternatives, while the chromium-plated satin finish reduces surface corrosion and eases cleaning. The ring end design ensures full peripheral contact with nuts and bolts for reduced rounding and improved torque application. This model is manufactured to meet DIN 838 dimensional tolerances and offers a maximum torque capacity stated to be higher than comparable tools made to DIN 899 or ANSI dimensions.
Select the correct ring wrench size that matches the nut or bolt head. Align the closed ring fully on the fastener so the wrench seats squarely on all contact points, then apply steady force to turn the fastener. Use controlled, even pressure to reduce the risk of rounding the fastener. For stubborn or seized fasteners, apply penetrating lubricant and allow time to work before retrying. Avoid using the wrench as a hammer or pry bar.
Inspect the wrench before use for damage or excessive wear; replace if the ring opening is distorted. Store in a dry place to preserve the chromium finish. When higher torque is required, use appropriate leverage methods such as a longer handled tool specifically rated for that load rather than extending the wrench with improvised means.
