Spanner wrench Proline 36147, adjustable hook-type, length 260 mm, 1 pc
Proline 36147 is a 260 mm adjustable hook-type spanner wrench intended for turning and securing circular fittings and collars. The tool is forged and chromium-plated with a satin finish and a ground head for precise contact. Its hook-style end and single-piece supply make it suitable for one-handed adjustment tasks in plumbing, mechanical maintenance and assembly where controlled torque and reach are required.
The forged construction and chromium plating provide durability and corrosion resistance while the satin finish reduces glare and improves grip comfort. A ground head ensures accurate engagement with mating surfaces to minimise slippage and wear. The 220° ±5° head range of motion offers a wide working angle for confined or awkward spaces, and the 260 mm length gives extended reach and leverage for turning collars and circular fittings.
Select the hook end to engage the collar or circular fitting so the ground head makes full contact with the workpiece. Apply steady force through the 260 mm handle to achieve the required torque while maintaining alignment to avoid slipping. For adjustable positioning, rotate the head within its 220° ±5° range to find the optimal working angle, then continue turning until the fitting is secured or released as needed. After use, wipe the tool clean and store in a dry place to maintain the chromium-plated surface.
Use this spanner wrench for light-to-medium torque applications appropriate for a 260 mm hand tool. Avoid excessive impact loads or levering beyond the intended range to prevent deformation. Periodically check the ground head and socket surfaces for wear and keep the tool free of dirt and corrosive substances to ensure reliable operation.
