Set of five Proline HSS‑TiN drill bits with 2.0 mm diameter, designed for drilling metal and wood. Each bit has a 135° cutting angle with adjustable point geometry and a working length of 24 mm (overall length 49 mm). The drills are ground and coated with titanium nitride (TiN) to increase wear resistance and improve hole finish.

How to use

Secure the workpiece and choose an appropriate drill speed for the material (lower speeds for metals, higher for wood and plastics). Clamp the 2.0 mm Proline HSS‑TiN bit in the drill chuck, align the tip with the mark and start drilling with steady pressure. For metal, use cutting fluid to reduce heat and extend bit life. Withdraw occasionally to clear chips when drilling deeper holes.

Usage recommendations

For best results, use sharp, undamaged bits and appropriate feed rates. Store the bits dry and clean to preserve the TiN coating. Replace bits if wear or chipping affects hole quality.
