Drill Bit Proline Universal CTi Proline 5x90mm Urbis 5767059
Straight shank drill bit Proline Universal CTi 5x90mm (Urbis 5767059) is a single-piece universal drilling tool with a 5 mm diameter and 90 mm overall length. The shank is made of chrome-vanadium steel while the cutting plate is produced from special alloys containing cobalt and titanium tungsten to provide enhanced hardness, wear resistance and heat tolerance. This drill bit is intended for use with handheld or bench drills for drilling into a wide range of materials including glass, porcelain, ceramic, concrete, marble, cast iron, wood, plastic, fiberglass, granite, laminate and hardened steel.
The Proline Universal CTi drill bit combines a chrome-vanadium steel shank with a cobalt and titanium-tungsten cutting plate to deliver increased cutting durability and temperature resistance. Its single-piece construction ensures stable alignment in the chuck and reliable transfer of torque, while the 5 x 90 mm dimensions make it suitable for common repair, installation and hobby drilling tasks.
Secure the 5 mm Proline Universal CTi drill bit in the chuck of a compatible handheld or bench drill. Select an appropriate drill speed and apply moderate, steady pressure according to the material being drilled. For hard or brittle materials such as glass, porcelain, ceramic, marble or granite, use slower speeds and avoid excessive force to prevent chipping. For metal or concrete, consider lubrication or cooling pauses as needed and ensure correct anchoring and safety equipment.
Use safety glasses and gloves when drilling. Match drill speed and feed pressure to the material: lower speeds for brittle materials, higher speeds with controlled feed for metals and wood. Replace the bit when wear reduces drilling efficiency or causes excessive heat.
