Drill bit Proline Universal CTi Proline 10x120mm Urbis 5767103
Proline Universal CTi Proline 10x120mm drill bit is a straight, general-purpose bit with a 10 mm diameter and 120 mm length. The shank is made from chrome-vanadium steel while the cutting plate uses special steels with cobalt and titanium tungsten additions to deliver enhanced hardness, wear resistance and temperature stability. This drill bit is intended for drilling glass, porcelain, ceramics, concrete, marble, cast iron, wood, plastic, fiberglass, granite, laminate and hardened steel in both manual and machine applications.
The chrome-vanadium steel shank provides reliable strength and dimensional stability during use. The cutting plate alloyed with cobalt and titanium tungsten increases edge hardness and resistance to abrasion and high temperatures, extending working life under demanding conditions. Its straight shank and 10 x 120 mm dimensions make it compatible with standard chucks for household drills and light professional equipment.
Secure the drill bit in the drill chuck and tighten firmly. Select an appropriate drill speed and, where applicable, use lubrication or cooling when working with metals and stone to reduce heat buildup. For brittle materials such as glass, porcelain and ceramics, use gentle pressure and steady control to avoid cracking; consider using a pilot point or tape to stabilize the bit on the surface. Apply steady, even feed and withdraw occasionally to clear debris.
Use safety equipment such as eye protection and gloves. Match drilling speed and feed to the material: lower speeds for hardened steel and abrasive stone, moderate speeds for metals and higher speeds for wood and plastics. Inspect the bit before use and replace when wear degrades performance.
