Drill bit Proline SDS+ Urbis Proline 5 x 110 mm - masonry/chisel drilling
Drill bit Proline SDS+ Urbis Proline 5 x 110 mm - masonry/chisel drilling
Proline SDS+ drill bit 5 x 110 mm designed for industrial and professional use. It is intended for drilling in concrete, granite and other natural stones. The bit features a specially shaped carbide insert that increases service life, improves drilling efficiency and ensures centered drilling accuracy while reducing load. A double flute design facilitates fast dust removal. Compatible with drills that use an SDS+ chuck.
The carbide insert provides extended durability and maintains cutting performance under heavy use. The specially formed tip improves centering and reduces wandering during drilling. Double spiral flutes accelerate debris evacuation, which helps maintain drilling speed and reduces heat buildup. SDS+ shank ensures secure fit and quick bit changes in compatible rotary and hammer drills.
Install the drill bit into an SDS+ compatible drill following the drill manufacturer's instructions. Select appropriate drilling mode (rotary or hammer) for the material. Begin drilling at moderate pressure to ensure correct centering, then apply steady force while allowing the bit to do the cutting. Withdraw occasionally to clear debris if drilling deep holes. After use, clean the flutes and store the bit in a dry place.
For best results, use with drills that support SDS+ connection and select hammer function when drilling concrete or granite. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, dust mask) and avoid excessive heating by using intermittent drilling and clearing debris regularly.
