Rivet Proline 59716 — blind rivet, pack of 20 pieces
Proline 59716 blind rivets are steel fasteners supplied in a pack of 20 pieces, designed to create permanent mechanical joints where access is available from one side only. These blind rivets are intended for fastening thin metal, sheet and similar materials in construction, repair and assembly applications. Delivered in a protective plastic bag, each rivet provides a compact and reliable solution for through-fastening tasks performed with manual or pneumatic rivet guns.
Steel construction ensures strength and durability for standard fastening tasks. The blind installation design allows fixing from one side, simplifying work in confined or obstructed spaces. Compatibility with common manual and pneumatic rivet guns enables flexible use on-site or in workshop environments. Packaged in a resealable plastic bag, the set of 20 rivets is convenient to store and transport.
Mark and drill a hole through the materials to be joined matching the rivet diameter, then insert the rivet mandrel through the hole until the rivet body sits flush against the workpiece. Use a manual or pneumatic rivet gun to pull the mandrel; continue pulling until the mandrel breaks and the rivet forms a secure blind head on the far side. Remove the broken mandrel remnant and inspect the connection for proper clamping. Repeat for each fastening point.
Before installation, confirm hole diameter and grip range match the rivet dimensions and material thickness. For corrosion-sensitive applications, consider using rivets and materials with appropriate corrosion protection. When working with power tools, follow tool manufacturer safety instructions and wear eye protection.
