Socket Key 1/2-inch 6-point 11 mm Proline 9017692
Socket Key 1/2-inch 6-point 11 mm Proline 9017692 is a 1/2" drive, 6-point 11 mm socket designed for fastening and loosening hex fasteners. Manufactured from chrome-vanadium steel and subjected to precise hardening and tempering processes, this socket meets high durability and hardness requirements and is intended for use with 1/2" ratchets, torque wrenches or breaker bars in automotive, maintenance and workshop environments.
The Proline 9017692 socket is made from chrome-vanadium steel and heat-treated to ensure consistent strength and wear resistance. Its six-point profile provides accurate engagement with hex nuts and bolts, while the PRO-DRIVE system featuring specially profiled edges between contact faces reduces point loading and protects fastener heads and flat edges from excessive wear. Manufacturing tolerances and material quality exceed DIN 3124 and PN-ISO 1711 requirements.
Select the socket and attach it to a compatible 1/2" drive tool such as a ratchet, torque wrench or breaker bar. Place the 6-point 11 mm socket squarely onto the hex fastener, ensuring full seating on the flats. Apply turning force smoothly and avoid sudden impacts unless the tool and fastener are rated for impact use. When torquing, use a calibrated torque wrench and follow the fastener manufacturer's torque specifications.
Store the socket in a dry, organized toolbox to prevent corrosion and damage. Inspect the socket for wear or rounding before use, and replace if contact faces are deformed. Use the PRO-DRIVE socket to minimize fastener damage and ensure longer service life when working with hex nuts and bolts.
