Socket wrench Proline 1/2" drive 12-point 16mm model 9052822
Proline 1/2" drive 12-point 16 mm socket wrench, model 9052822, is made from chrome-vanadium steel and designed for tightening and loosening 12-point fasteners. The tool is heat-treated with precise hardening and tempering to provide appropriate hardness and durability, and it meets durability requirements that exceed DIN 3124 and PN-ISO 1711. The 16 mm size fits standard 12-point bolts and nuts and is compatible with 1/2" drive ratchets and extensions for workshop, automotive and industrial maintenance tasks.
The socket features chrome-vanadium construction with precise hardening and tempering for long service life and resistance to wear. Edges between the working faces are specially profiled with the PRO-DRIVE system to reduce excessive point loading, which helps protect fastener heads from rounding and limits flat-edge damage. The design provides a compact, precise fit that improves torque transfer and reduces slippage.
Select the 16 mm 12-point socket and attach it to a compatible 1/2" drive ratchet, breaker bar or extension. Position the socket fully onto the fastener head to ensure full contact on the 12 engagement points, then apply steady torque in the required direction to tighten or loosen the fastener. Avoid using the socket with excessively damaged or corroded fasteners that may prevent proper seating.
For best results, use the socket with the correct 1/2" drive tools and avoid high-impact air tools unless the socket is specifically rated for impact use. Inspect both the socket and fastener before use and replace any worn or deformed sockets to maintain safe and effective operation.
