The Proline Tools 61636 manual tile cutter is an accessory designed to support efficient grouting and tile finishing when used with compatible glazing and grouting buckets. It functions as a grate that separates cleaner water from dirty water during sponge soaking, ensuring the sponge float absorbs cleaner liquid from the upper layer. The grate fits with the 61634 glazing bucket and can serve as a replacement element in the 61630, 61631, and 61632 glazing sets. Quantity per pack: 1 piece.
The grate removes excess grout and helps wash and evenly soak the sponge float, improving consistency in grout application. By retaining dirt and heavier particles below the grate, it keeps the upper water layer cleaner so the sponge float soaks in cleaner water. The unit is compact, easy to install in compatible buckets, and can be used as a spare part to extend the working life of existing glazing sets.
Place the grate inside the compatible glazing bucket so that it forms a barrier between the upper and lower water layers. Add water and use the sponge float above the grate; the float will absorb the cleaner upper water while sediment and dirty water remain below. Remove excess grout from the sponge float by passing it over the grate surface, then rinse and store the grate and bucket after use according to standard cleaning practices.
For best results, use the grate with the recommended Proline glazing buckets and clean the grate regularly to prevent clogging. Replace the grate if it shows signs of wear or damage to maintain effective separation of dirty water and cleaner upper water.
