Ratchet Handle 1/4" Proxxon 23082, 1 pc, multicolour
Proxxon Ratchet Handle 1/4" model 23082 is a compact hand tool designed for precise tightening and loosening of small fasteners in confined spaces. The tool features a rotating grip that enables pre-tensioning against a surface so that only minimal ratcheting movement is needed to operate, making it suitable for work in heating and cooling systems, servomotors, exhaust systems and automotive gearboxes. The multicolour finish improves visibility and identification in busy toolkits, while the fine-tooth mechanism provides controlled, low-clearance operation.
The ratchet offers a fine-tooth drive with 52 teeth for minimal swing arc and smooth incremental action. A convenient drive direction switch allows quick reversal without removing the tool from the fastener. Sockets lock securely on the square drive and are released using a quick-release button. Its compact size and rotating grip design make it effective where space is limited and precise control is required.
Select a compatible 1/4" socket and push it onto the square drive until it clicks and is held by the quick-release mechanism. Position the rotating grip against a reference surface if pre-tensioning is needed, then use short ratchet strokes to tighten or loosen the fastener. Use the drive direction switch to change from tightening to loosening without removing the tool. Press the quick-release button to remove sockets when work is complete.
Use the Proxxon ratchet with sockets sized for the 1/4" square drive and avoid applying excessive torque beyond companion socket and fastener ratings. For work in very confined or angular spaces, use the rotating grip to establish pre-tensioning before ratcheting. Keep the mechanism clean and lightly lubricated for consistent performance.
