How to use

Secure the saw on a stable bench or work surface before connecting to the mains supply. Fit the appropriate blade for the material being cut and check that the toothed-belt drive and blade guard are properly installed. Set the mitre fence and angle stop according to the required cut and make small test cuts on scrap material to confirm settings. Feed the workpiece steadily and without excessive force; allow the motor and blade speed to perform the cut. When cutting printed circuit board material or reinforced plastics, use a suitable blade (carbide if necessary) and reduce feed rate to prevent chipping.

Usage recommendations

Wear appropriate eye and respiratory protection when cutting plastics, fibreglass-reinforced materials or metals. Use dust extraction or local ventilation to reduce airborne particles. Do not exceed the specified material thickness limits and select the blade type suitable for the material: high-tooth blades for wood and plastics, carbide blades for reinforced or harder materials. Allow the motor to cool between extended sessions to maintain motor life.
