Sander Proxxon WP/E 2500 RPM

The Proxxon WP/E 2500 RPM is a compact finishing sander designed for precise surface work in narrow or confined areas. It is intended for final sanding of bare surfaces, cleaning, rust removal and for finishing touches after varnishing. The tool combines a balanced, powerful DC motor with a quiet planetary gear in a die-cast aluminium housing and offers continuously variable speed control (full-wave electronics) to maintain low and constant speeds under high contact pressure. The main housing is made of glass-fibre reinforced polyamide with a soft component for comfortable handling. The sander is supplied in a sturdy polypropylene case and includes accessories for immediate use: a rubber backing disc with hook-and-loop fastening, a medium-hard polishing sponge, a lambswool polishing disc, a medium-hard polishing felt for metals and non-ferrous metals, 12 sanding discs (K 2000), a 75 ml NIGRIN polishing emulsion and a microfibre cloth.

How to use

Attach the appropriate backing disc and abrasive or polishing accessory using the hook-and-loop fastening. Connect the sander to a 220–240 V AC supply. Set the desired speed with the continuously variable control before starting and begin sanding with light, even pressure. For polishing, use the supplied polishing sponge, lambswool disc or polishing felt with the NIGRIN polishing emulsion. Move the tool steadily across the surface to avoid creating uneven spots and allow the motor to run at the selected speed to maintain consistent finish quality.

Usage recommendations

Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, dust mask and hearing protection as appropriate. For best results on varnished surfaces, start with a finer abrasive and test on a small area. Store the tool and accessories in the supplied case to protect them from dust and moisture.
