Socket set Proxxon 23 109 — chromium-vanadium steel, 36 pieces, black
Proxxon 23 109 is a 36-piece socket set made from chromium-vanadium steel, supplied as black-finished sockets for general mechanical and maintenance work. The kit covers a range of socket sizes suitable for workshop and household repairs and is designed for use with ratchet tools and handles. Also included is a 1/4"-MICRO bit ratchet with a magnetic insert and a short working distance for use with hexagonal bits; the ratchet features a fine-tooth drive and a reversible lever. Bits are manufactured from a high-strength chrome-molybdenum-silicon-manganese-vanadium alloy and hardened to modern production standards.
The set combines chromium-vanadium steel sockets with industrial-quality bits and a compact 1/4"-MICRO bit ratchet that requires no adapter. The black-finished sockets and matt chrome-plated ratchet components provide corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. The ratchet’s fine-tooth drive and short distance between the reverse lever and bit end allow work in confined spaces, while the magnetic insert helps retain bits during use. The TPR grip on the ratchet offers resistance to oil and acids and a comfortable hold during repetitive tasks.
Select the appropriate socket or hexagonal bit for the fastener size and place it onto the 1/4"-MICRO bit ratchet or compatible ratchet handle. Use the magnetic insert to hold bits in place during insertion. Set the reversible lever to the desired ratcheting direction and apply steady, controlled force; the fine-tooth drive transmits torque through multiple teeth engagement. For tight spaces, take advantage of the short distance between the reverse lever and the bit end. After use, clean any debris from sockets and bits and store the set in its case to prevent corrosion.
Use the set for routine mechanical and household tasks within the torque limits appropriate for 1/4" drives and hardened bits. Avoid exposing the tools to prolonged moisture; lubricate moving parts of the ratchet periodically and replace worn bits to maintain performance.
