Socket Bit Torx Long 1/2" T50 x 100 mm — Proxxon PR23497
Proxxon PR23497 is a long Torx socket bit for 1/2" drive with a T50 tip and a 100 mm shaft length. Designed for use with 1/2" ratchets and torque tools, this extended-length Torx bit provides reach into recessed fasteners and confined spaces while maintaining compatibility with common square-drive hand tools. The hardened tip and precision-machined geometry ensure consistent engagement with Torx T50 fasteners, reducing the risk of cam-out and wear during repeated use.
The long 100 mm shaft gives improved access to deep-set or recessed Torx bolts without the need for adapter extensions. Manufactured to Proxxon quality standards, the bit offers accurate fit to Torx profiles and durable material hardness for increased service life. Its 1/2" square drive interface enables direct use with standard ratchets and torque wrenches, allowing controlled torque application for maintenance and assembly tasks.
Select the Torx T50 long socket bit and insert the 1/2" square drive into a compatible ratchet or torque wrench. Align the Torx tip with the fastener, apply steady axial pressure to ensure full engagement, and turn the tool in the required direction. When using a torque wrench, set the required torque value for the application and operate according to the torque tool manufacturer's instructions. After use, inspect the tip for wear and store the bit in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
Use the Proxxon long Torx bit with the correct torque setting to avoid over-torquing Torx T50 fasteners. For deeply recessed or obstructed fasteners, ensure the shaft has unobstructed alignment to prevent side loading on the tip. Replace the bit if the Torx profile shows rounding or significant wear.
