Proxxon Screwdriver Bit Socket PZ 3 3/8" Drive 50 mm is a socket-mounted Pozidriv bit intended for use with compatible 3/8" drive ratchets and torque tools. The tool combines the Pozidriv PZ 3 tip profile with a 50 mm shaft to provide extended reach while allowing controlled torque application through a standard 3/8" drive connection. It is designed for repair, assembly and maintenance tasks where a robust, socket-mounted Pozidriv bit is required.
The bit socket provides secure engagement with Pozidriv PZ 3 screws, reducing cam-out compared with standard Phillips tips. The 3/8" drive interface enables use with torque-controlled ratchets and extension tools for precise tightening. A 50 mm overall length gives additional reach into recessed fasteners without compromising stability or control. The solid construction ensures durability under repeated torque cycles.
Select a compatible 3/8" drive ratchet, torque wrench or extension and attach the Proxxon PZ 3 bit socket by inserting the drive into the tool until it locks. Align the Pozidriv tip with the screw head, apply steady axial pressure and rotate the drive to tighten or loosen the fastener. When using a torque tool, set the required torque value before operation. After use, inspect the tip for wear and store the bit socket in a dry tool case to prevent corrosion.
For best results, use the PZ 3 bit socket with the appropriate 3/8" drive torque tool and avoid excessive side load. Replace the bit socket when the tip shows rounding or deformation to maintain secure engagement and accurate torque transmission.
