Screwdriver Bit Socket Proxxon PR23730 1/4" PH1 — Phillips bit adapter
Screwdriver Bit Socket Proxxon PR23730 1/4" PH1 — Phillips bit adapter
Proxxon PR23730 is a 1/4" screwdriver bit socket with a PH1 (Phillips) tip designed to provide a reliable connection between standard 1/4" bit holders or socket drivers and PH1 Phillips screws. The adapter converts a 1/4" drive interface to a precision PH1 screwdriver tip, enabling use with ratchets, bit holders and other 1/4" drive tools for tasks that require a Phillips PH1 profile. It is intended for precision assembly, electronic repairs and small mechanical jobs where a compact, accurate Phillips bit is needed.
The bit socket offers a secure fit into 1/4" drive tools and maintains the correct Phillips geometry for reduced cam-out during use. Its compact 1/4" format allows access to confined spaces and makes it compatible with a wide range of hand and power bit holders. The adapter is intended to provide consistent torque transfer and straightforward interchangeability with standard 1/4" bits.
Insert the 1/4" end of the adapter into a compatible bit holder, socket driver or ratchet with a 1/4" drive. Fit the PH1 tip to the screw head, ensuring correct alignment to minimize slippage. Apply steady torque appropriate to the screw and material; avoid excessive force to prevent damage to screw heads or the tip. Remove the adapter by pulling it straight out of the holder when finished or when changing bits.
Use the adapter with appropriate-sized PH1 screws and avoid using it for large or high-torque fasteners. For work on sensitive electronics, use controlled torque settings on power tools or prefer manual drivers to reduce the risk of over-tightening. Store the bit socket in a dry toolbox or bit organizer to keep the tip in correct condition.
