Filament Prusa PETG 1.75 mm 1 kg – Jungle Green (Prusa)
Prusa PETG 1.75 mm 1 kg – Jungle Green is a PETG filament formulated for FDM 3D printing. Offered on a 1 kg spool with 1.75 mm diameter, this material combines good mechanical strength and chemical resistance with low tendency to warp, making it suitable for functional parts, housings and visual models. The Jungle Green colour provides a consistent, translucent-to-opaque finish depending on print settings and part thickness.
This PETG filament delivers reliable layer adhesion and improved impact resistance compared with standard PLA while maintaining easier printability than ABS. The semi-rigid nature of the material supports dimensional stability for mechanical components and enclosures. Its chemical resistance makes it appropriate where occasional exposure to oils or mild solvents is expected, and the reduced warping behavior simplifies printing larger or bridged parts on compatible FDM machines.
Load the 1.75 mm PETG filament onto any compatible FDM printer spool holder and feed into the extruder according to the printer manufacturer's instructions. Use a recommended nozzle temperature range for PETG (refer to your printer or filament settings) and a heated bed to improve first-layer adhesion. Adjust print speed and cooling to balance surface finish and layer bonding; slower speeds and reduced part cooling often improve interlayer strength. Store the spool in a dry, cool place or in sealed packaging with desiccant when not in use to prevent moisture uptake.
For best results, set a stable extrusion temperature and calibrate extrusion multiplier for accurate dimensional prints. Use a PEI sheet, blue painter’s tape, or a thin coating of adhesive on the heated bed for secure first-layer adhesion. Dry the filament before printing if you observe stringing or bubbling. Avoid prolonged exposure to high heat in finished parts, as PETG softens at elevated temperatures.
