Description

The FiberX FX-I375-010 is a 10 m HDMI Type A cable designed for transmission of HDMI 2.1 signals over extended distances. It combines optical fibers for the AV stream and copper conductors for power and control signals, enabling reliable delivery of up to 48 Gbps bandwidth and support for resolutions up to 8K UltraHD-2 at 60 Hz. The cable is unidirectional, halogen-free and comes in a black jacket with HDMI-A male connectors on both ends.

The cable supports the HDMI 2.1 Ultra High Speed specification with a 48 Gbps data rate, enabling lossless AV transmission up to 8K@60 Hz and compatibility with HDCP 2.3. Its hybrid fiber-optic and copper design provides EMI-resistant signal transmission for long runs while maintaining power (5 V) and data channels (HPD, CEC) via copper conductors. Gold-plated precision contacts and PureLink ULS™ (Ultra-Lock-System™) secure the HDMI-A male connectors and prevent accidental disconnection. The small 4.5 mm diameter allows tight bending radii for installation in confined spaces.

How to use

Identify the cable direction using the marks on each end and connect the HDMI-A male plug labeled SOURCE to the output of your source device (for example a player, PC or AV processor) and the plug labeled DISPLAY to the input of the sink device (TV, projector or monitor). The cable is plug-and-play and does not require external power. Avoid connecting the cable in the wrong direction; the cable is not bidirectional and incorrect orientation will prevent signal transmission.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, route the cable with gentle bends and avoid repeated tight flexing. Use the Ultra-Lock-System™ to secure connectors in environments subject to movement or vibration. The small 4.5 mm diameter supports installations in confined spaces; respect the static minimum bend radius of 45 mm and dynamic radius of 90 mm during installation.
