The FiberX FX-I645-003 is a 3.00 m hybrid AOC USB cable with USB-A on one end and USB-B on the other. Compliant with USB 3.2 Gen 1 (SuperSpeed, up to 10 Gbps) and backward compatible with USB 2.0, the cable uses fiber optics for data transmission and copper conductors for power. It has a slim 4.5 mm outer diameter, gold-plated precision contacts and a nickel-plated plug shell, and does not require an external power supply (powered via the USB port).

The hybrid fiber-and-copper construction provides electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and low attenuation for stable high-speed data transfer over longer distances than conventional copper-only USB cables.
