The QNAP QXP-16G2FC is a dual-port internal Fibre Channel network card that enables adding a QNAP NAS to an existing SAN environment. With a fibre interface and a maximum data transfer rate of 14025 Mbit/s, the card is designed to provide high-performance, reliable and energy-efficient Fibre Channel connectivity for storage and backup applications.

Advantages

The QXP-16G2FC delivers high throughput and low latency via dual Fibre Channel ports while remaining cost-effective compared with typical SAN devices. When installed in a QNAP NAS, it enables enterprise storage features such as LUN snapshots, Qtier auto-tiering, SSD cache acceleration and hybrid cloud backup. Management is simplified through QTS using the iSCSI & Fibre Channel app to configure the NAS as a Fibre Channel Target and to use WWPN addresses for SAN integration.
