Ladder cable tie QOLTEC 52220 is a reusable nylon fastening solution designed to bundle and organise cables, wiring looms and harnesses. The black ladder-style tie measures 350 mm in length and 7.2 mm in width and comes in a pack of 50 pieces. It combines a flexible ladder design with self-locking sections to provide secure grip and straightforward repositioning in installations, server racks, telecom cabinets and industrial environments.
The nylon construction ensures good mechanical strength, chemical resistance and low moisture absorption while remaining lightweight. Ladder-style slots let you fasten cable groups at multiple points and adjust the tie position without cutting, reducing waste and making maintenance easier. The self-locking profile secures cables reliably and prevents slippage under normal operational loads.
Wrap the ladder cable tie around the cable bundle and engage the self-locking section to secure the grouping. For repositioning, release the ladder slot at the chosen point and reinsert the tail to adjust tension; the ladder design allows multiple fastening points along the length. Cut off any excess tail if a flush finish is required, taking care not to damage cables. Use enough ties spaced appropriately to support the weight and prevent sagging.
For best results, select tie spacing based on cable diameter and environment; in fixed installations use ties every 20–40 cm depending on bundle weight. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV if used outdoors unless additional UV-stabilised protection is applied. Do not overtighten to prevent deformation of cable insulation.
