Rechargeable LiFePO4 battery QOLTEC 12.8V 7Ah (89.6Wh) with integrated BMS
QOLTEC rechargeable LiFePO4 battery with a nominal voltage of 12.8V and a usable capacity of 7Ah (89.6Wh) is designed to provide stable low-voltage power for portable devices, small backup systems, lighting and telecom equipment. The cell chemistry offers a balance of cycle life and safety, while the integrated Battery Management System (BMS) manages cell balancing and basic protections to ensure reliable performance during charge and discharge cycles.
The LiFePO4 chemistry provides improved cycle life and thermal stability compared to many other lead-acid or lithium chemistries. Built-in BMS delivers protection against overcharge, overdischarge and short circuit, and performs passive cell balancing to prolong usable life. The compact 12.8V form factor is compatible with systems that expect a 12V nominal supply while offering higher usable energy density and lighter weight than equivalent lead-acid batteries.
Install the battery in a dry, well-ventilated location and secure it to prevent movement. Connect positive and negative terminals to the corresponding system inputs, observing correct polarity. Charge the battery using a charger compatible with LiFePO4 chemistry and a charging voltage appropriate for a 12.8V nominal battery; avoid chargers designed only for lead-acid batteries. The integrated BMS will manage cell balancing and protective cutoffs during normal operation. Follow system manufacturer guidelines for wiring, fusing and current limits.
For longest service life, store and operate the battery within recommended temperature ranges, avoid deep discharges when possible, and use a LiFePO4-compatible charger. Regular inspections of terminals and connections are advised. When integrating into backup or telecom systems, include appropriate fusing and protection on output lines and follow local safety standards.
