QOLTEC 54049 is a 3 m multimode OM2 fibre optic cable with a 50 µm core diameter, terminated with an SC connector on one end and an FC connector on the other. It provides full-duplex optical transmission for short to medium-range links and is suitable for connections between network equipment, transceivers and active components in storage area networks, InfiniBand fabrics and other high-speed multimode applications.
The cable uses OM2 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core that supports legacy and common multimode transceivers, offering reliable signal integrity for short- to medium-distance links. Full-duplex construction enables simultaneous bi-directional data flow. The SC and FC terminations provide wide compatibility with equipment using square-push SC interfaces and screw-type FC ports.
