Quantec PMWL-700 is a 700 ml polyurethane mounting foam supplied in a pressurised can for professional and DIY use. The product is formulated for filling gaps and cavities, sealing joints, insulating around window and door frames, and bonding lightweight construction elements. It is compatible with standard foam application guns and cures to a resilient closed-cell structure suitable for thermal and acoustic insulation as well as trimming and finishing after expansion.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose particles before application. Shake the can thoroughly according to the manufacturer's instructions and attach to a compatible applicator or use the supplied straw if provided. Apply foam from the bottom of the cavity upwards, allowing appropriate expansion space; avoid overfilling as the foam will expand. After application, allow the foam to cure; excess cured foam can be trimmed with a knife and finished with sanding or paint as required. Store unused cans in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources and follow safety guidance on handling pressurised containers.

Usage recommendations

For best results, dampen porous surfaces lightly with water before application to improve adhesion and accelerate curing. Use protective gloves and eye protection during application and ensure adequate ventilation. Do not apply at temperatures or humidity levels outside the range recommended by the manufacturer; follow local regulations for disposal of empty pressurised cans.
