Silicone sealant cartridge Quantec SUN-310-BI 310 ml — universal white
Quantec SUN-310-BI is a universal silicone sealant supplied in a 310 ml cartridge designed for use with standard caulking guns. This one-component white silicone forms a flexible, weather-resistant seal suitable for joints and gaps around windows, doors, sanitary fixtures and building façades. The neutral-curing formulation adheres to common building materials and remains elastic after curing, providing durable sealing for general-purpose construction and renovation tasks.
The silicone offers reliable adhesion to materials such as glass, painted surfaces, ceramics and many plastics without the need for a primer in typical applications. Its neutral cure minimizes corrosion risk on metal substrates and reduces strong acetic odor during application. The product stays elastic after curing to accommodate thermal and structural movement, and the 310 ml cartridge format is compatible with standard caulking guns for controlled application.
Cut the cartridge nozzle to the required bead size and load the cartridge into a standard caulking gun. Ensure joint surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose material. Apply an even bead of sealant into the joint, tooling the sealant within the product's skin time to achieve a smooth finish and good contact with both sides of the joint. Allow the sealant to cure undisturbed according to ambient temperature and humidity; curing time may vary by conditions.
For best results, use appropriate masking to protect adjacent surfaces and tool the sealant before skin formation. Avoid applying to continuously submerged areas and to surfaces that are not compatible with silicone. For porous or difficult substrates, perform a compatibility test or use a suitable primer where necessary.
