High-Temperature Sealant Quantec UWT-310-CZ cartridge 310 ml black
Quantec UWT-310-CZ high-temperature sealant in a 310 ml cartridge (black) is formulated for sealing and bonding applications that require prolonged heat resistance. Supplied in a standard cartridge for use with a caulking gun, this sealant is intended for joints, flanges and components exposed to elevated temperatures such as exhaust and engine parts. The product balances heat stability with adhesion to common metals and engineered surfaces found in automotive and industrial maintenance.
The sealant offers high temperature resistance suitable for continuous and intermittent heat exposure and provides reliable adhesion to metal surfaces. Its cartridge format enables controlled application with a standard caulking gun, improving accuracy during repair and maintenance jobs. The black color helps visually match dark engine and exhaust components and reduces visible staining in soot-prone areas.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning away oil, grease, rust and loose material; surfaces should be dry and free from contaminants. Cut the cartridge tip to the required bead size and use a standard caulking gun for application. Apply an even bead to one mating surface, assemble parts within the product's handling time, and allow the sealant to cure according to ambient temperature and ventilation conditions. Excess uncured material can be removed with a suitable solvent; cured material may require mechanical removal. Follow workplace safety and ventilation practices during application.
For best results on exhaust and engine components, apply at recommended bead thickness and ensure good contact between mating surfaces. Avoid applying to surfaces with active oil leaks or heavy contamination. Allow complete curing before exposing to full operating temperatures to achieve optimal heat resistance and bonding performance.
