USB graphics adapter RAIDSONIC ICY BOX 60021
The RAIDSONIC ICY BOX 60021 USB graphics adapter converts a USB Type-C Alternate Mode output to a VGA port, allowing a notebook, PC or other USB-C device with DisplayPort Alternate Mode to connect to a VGA monitor or projector. The adapter supports resolutions up to 2048x1152 at 60Hz, comes in a compact black ABS housing and is intended for extending display options for presentations or multi-monitor setups.
The adapter provides a simple plug-and-play way to connect modern USB-C devices to legacy VGA displays without additional drivers when the host supports Alternate Mode. Its compact ABS construction and lightweight design make it easy to carry. Video conversion maintains resolutions up to 2048x1152@60Hz, ensuring readable desktop and presentation output on VGA-equipped monitors and projectors.
Connect the USB Type-C plug of the adapter to a host device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Attach a VGA cable from the adapter to the VGA input of a monitor or projector. Power and video are negotiated by the host device; set the desired resolution and display mode (mirror or extend) in the host operating system display settings. No additional software is required when the host provides Alternate Mode support.
Use a high-quality VGA cable for best image stability and ensure the host device explicitly supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode. For optimal results, set the host resolution to 2048x1152@60Hz or a supported lower resolution if the VGA display cannot accept the maximum.
