The RAM Mounts Action Camera Universal Ball Adapter (RAP-B-202U-GOP1) combines RAM's modular mounting system with a custom GoPro-style adapter to provide a compact, stable solution for attaching an action camera. The adapter replaces the factory mounting bracket by fastening to the underside of the camera and connects to a 1" diameter rubber ball, allowing use with the wide range of RAM arms, bases and clamps for flexible positioning.

How to use

Remove the camera’s factory mounting bracket if present, then align and fasten the adapter to the camera’s underside using the supplied screw(s). Insert the 1" rubber ball into a compatible RAM double-socket arm and tighten the arm’s knob to secure the ball joint. Adjust the camera position and torque the knob to lock the desired angle. Attach the other end of the arm to an appropriate RAM base or clamp for the chosen mounting surface.

Usage recommendations

Check that the adapter is securely fastened to the camera and that the RAM arm knob is tightened before each use; inspect for wear on the rubber ball and mounting threads periodically, especially after heavy outdoor use.
