The RAWLPLUG RT-DDT-115 Turbo Diamond Blade is a high-performance cutting accessory engineered specifically for demanding concrete applications. With a diameter of 115mm and a standard 22.23mm bore, this blade is compatible with most professional angle grinders. Its turbo-segmented design facilitates rapid material removal while maintaining structural integrity, ensuring that users can achieve clean, precise cuts in various masonry materials during construction and renovation work.
Advantages
This diamond blade offers exceptional durability and efficiency due to its heavy-duty construction, which is designed to withstand the high friction and heat generated during concrete cutting. The turbo rim configuration promotes effective cooling and debris removal, significantly extending the service life of the blade compared to standard cutting discs. Its professional-grade composition ensures consistent performance, allowing for smooth operation and reduced vibration during intensive use.
Suitable for
- Cutting concrete blocks and slabs
- Masonry renovation projects
- General construction site tasks
- Precision cutting with angle grinders
When it may not be suitable
This blade is specifically optimized for concrete and masonry materials. It is not recommended for cutting metal, wood, or plastic, as these materials may cause the diamond segments to overheat or clog, leading to premature blade failure or unsafe operating conditions.
Key specifications
- Diameter: 115mm
- Bore size: 22.23mm
- Blade type: Turbo diamond
- Application: Concrete
How to use
Ensure the angle grinder is disconnected from the power source before mounting the blade. Place the blade onto the spindle, ensuring it is centered correctly on the 22.23mm bore, and tighten the locking nut securely. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety goggles, gloves, and a dust mask. Start the grinder and allow it to reach full speed before making contact with the material. Apply steady, moderate pressure, letting the blade perform the cutting action without forcing it.
What to consider before purchase
- Verify the compatibility of the 115mm diameter with your angle grinder guard
- Ensure the 22.23mm bore matches your tool spindle size
- Confirm the material being cut is suitable for diamond blades
Usage recommendations
Always inspect the blade for cracks or damage before each use. Do not exceed the maximum rotational speed specified for the tool and ensure the blade is mounted in the correct direction of rotation as indicated by the arrow on the disc.
