Drill bit RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 16×200×340 mm
Drill bit RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 16×200×340 mm
RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 16×200×340 mm is a rotary-hammer drill bit designed for drilling in concrete, masonry and comparable mineral materials. With a 16 mm diameter, 200 mm effective working length and 340 mm total length, this SDS Max bit is intended for use with SDS Max rotary hammers and delivers consistent hole quality for anchor installation, through-holes and heavy-duty drilling tasks.
The TURBODRILL geometry and tungsten carbide tip provide improved penetration and longer cutting life compared with standard bits of similar size. The SDS Max shank enables quick and secure tool-to-bit coupling, reducing play during hammer drilling. Balanced design and controlled flute profile evacuate dust efficiently to maintain drilling speed and reduce heat build-up.
Fit the RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL into an SDS Max rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the shank is fully engaged and locked. Select an appropriate drilling mode (hammer with rotation) and start at low speed to position the bit, then apply steady pressure and allow the tool’s hammer action to advance the bit. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and inspect the hole. For reinforced concrete, use controlled progress to avoid undue stress on the bit tip.
Use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask when drilling. Match drill diameter and depth to the anchor or fixing specifications and avoid excessive lateral force. For best performance, keep the bit clean and replace when wear reduces cutting efficiency or bit geometry is visibly damaged.
