Drill bit RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 20 x 200 x 340 mm
Drill bit RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 20 x 200 x 340 mm
RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 20 x 200 x 340 mm is a carbide-tipped drill bit designed for use with SDS Max rotary hammers. With a 20 mm cutting diameter, 200 mm working length and 340 mm overall length, this bit enables deeper holes in concrete, masonry and natural stone for anchored fixing, through-holes and installation tasks that require stable, accurate drilling. The geometry and carbide tip are engineered to provide fast material removal and maintain drilling precision when working with reinforced or dense substrates.
The TURBODRILL design reduces wandering at start-up and improves dust evacuation for efficient progress during extended drilling. A hardened body and precision-ground flute maintain straightness and resist wear, extending the service life of the bit under heavy-duty conditions. Compatibility with SDS Max chucks ensures secure mounting and reliable power transfer from rotary hammers, while the 200 mm working length with a 340 mm overall length provides extended reach without sacrificing stability.
Fit the TURBODRILL into the SDS Max chuck of a compatible rotary hammer, ensuring the bit locks securely. Mark the drilling position and start drilling at low speed to establish the hole, then increase hammering action as appropriate for the substrate. Apply steady axial pressure without forcing the bit; allow the hammering action and carbide tip to break material. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and chips, especially when drilling deep holes, to maintain cutting efficiency and prevent jamming.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and dust mask. For reinforced concrete, use intermittent drilling and frequent extraction to avoid overheating. When drilling through finished surfaces, start with a pilot mark or pilot bit to prevent surface chipping. Store the bit in a dry place and avoid striking the carbide tip against hard surfaces when not in use.
