Drill Bit RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 22 x 200 x 340 mm
Drill Bit RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 22 x 200 x 340 mm
RAWLPLUG TURBODRILL SDS Max 22 x 200 x 340 mm is a heavy-duty masonry drill bit engineered for use with SDS Max rotary hammers. It offers a 22 mm nominal diameter, a 200 mm working length and a total length of 340 mm, enabling deep drilling in concrete, stone and masonry. The bit is intended for demolition, anchor and installation work where compatibility with SDS Max systems is required.
The TURBODRILL geometry and carbide tip provide efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance when drilling into reinforced and unreinforced concrete. The SDS Max shank ensures secure fitment and rapid bit changes in compatible rotary hammers. The combination of working length and overall length allows for reaching recessed drilling positions while maintaining good control and guidance during operation.
Install the bit into an SDS Max rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer's instructions until it locks in place. Select an appropriate hammering/drilling mode and apply steady, moderate pressure while allowing the tool to perform the work. For reinforced concrete, start with a pilot hole or use progressive feed to reduce stress on the bit. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips and prevent overheating; use a vacuum or brush to remove dust from the hole when necessary.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and dust mask when drilling. Use the drill bit with rotary hammers rated for SDS Max accessories and match drilling speeds and impact energy to the material being drilled to maximize lifetime and maintain accuracy.
