Wide lens Raynox HD-6600PRO-49
The Raynox HD-6600PRO-49 is a high-definition wide conversion lens designed for camcorders and digital video cameras. Built with a 3-element/3-group construction from high-index optical glass and full multi-coating, the lens delivers distortion-minimized wide-angle performance (rated Distortion Free at -1.3%) and a center resolution of 350 line/mm (MTF30%). The conversion lens provides a 0.66x wide-angle effect without reducing the light transmission, and it is finished in durable black with a 72 mm filter thread for attachment to compatible camera lenses.
The HD-6600PRO-49 combines a sophisticated optical formula and high-index glass to achieve low distortion and high central resolution suitable for HD imaging. Its compact 3/3 element-group design and full coating help maintain image quality while expanding field of view. The lens attaches without loss of light value and is available with original Raynox adapters engineered to provide optimal physical and optical matching to the HD-6600PRO series.
Screw the HD-6600PRO-49 onto the camera lens using the 72 mm filter thread or the appropriate Raynox adapter designed for your camcorder model. Ensure the adapter is the original Raynox adapter when possible to achieve the best physical and optical alignment. After mounting, confirm secure attachment and check camera focus and framing — the conversion lens will widen the field of view by approximately 0.66x without reducing light transmission. Make fine focus and exposure adjustments on the camera if needed.
For optimal corner-to-corner image quality, use the original Raynox adapters supplied for the HD-6600PRO series. Third-party adapters can slightly degrade image quality, particularly in the corners. Use on cameras with HD-capable sensors for best results.
