Furthermore, the robust construction of the RAYOVAC Uniross cells provides enhanced protection against corrosion and internal pressure buildup, contributing to a safer and more reliable user experience in various environmental conditions.

Suitable for

• High-drain household electronics
• Portable flashlights and lanterns
• Children's toys and motorized games
• Radio equipment and audio devices
• Large wall clocks and household appliances

When it may not be suitable

These batteries are not intended for use in devices that specifically require rechargeable battery technology, as attempting to recharge them can lead to leakage or damage. Additionally, they may not be the most cost-effective choice for extremely low-drain devices where specialized lithium or long-life batteries might offer a longer shelf life.

Key specifications

• Battery size: D (LR20)
• Chemistry: Alkaline
• Voltage: 1.5V
• Quantity: 2 batteries per pack

How to use

To use these batteries, ensure that the device is powered off before inserting the cells into the battery compartment. Align the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery with the corresponding markings inside the device. Push the batteries firmly into place to ensure a secure connection. If the device will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent potential corrosion.

What to consider before purchase

• Check the battery size requirements in your device manual to ensure D (LR20) is the correct type.
• Verify the quantity needed, as some devices require more than two batteries for operation.
• Consider the power consumption of your device to determine if alkaline chemistry meets your performance expectations.

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid mixing old and new batteries or batteries of different brands within the same device. Always store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and metal objects to maintain their integrity.
