Renkforce RF-4738590 is a PETG 3D printing filament supplied in a set of three spools with a combined weight of 600 g. The material is Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG), offered in Black, Red and White colour options and in a 1.75 mm diameter suitable for most consumer FDM/FFF printers. PETG blends the toughness of ABS with the ease of printing associated with PLA and performs well at extrusion temperatures up to 240 °C.
PETG from Renkforce provides a balance between strength and printability: it delivers good layer adhesion, impact resistance and chemical durability while remaining less prone to warping than more temperature-sensitive materials. The 1.75 mm filament diameter ensures consistent feed for standard hotends. Available in three basic colours, the material is convenient for prototyping, functional parts and visible components where a smooth surface finish and lasting properties are required.
Load the 1.75 mm PETG filament into a compatible FDM/FFF printer according to the printer manufacturer's instructions. Set a nozzle temperature up to 240 °C and adjust bed temperature and first-layer settings to ensure adhesion; many prints benefit from a heated bed and a moderate first-layer speed. Ensure correct retraction and cooling settings to reduce stringing and obtain a smooth surface. Follow standard spool handling practices to avoid tangles and moisture uptake.
Store unopened spools in a dry environment; if the filament absorbs moisture, dry according to the manufacturer's guidance before printing. For best results, calibrate extrusion multiplier and print a temperature tower to find the optimal balance between flow, surface finish and stringing for your specific printer and colour choice.
