Fabric Shaver Retoo ER1230, rechargeable 3-speed, 5 W for clothing and upholstery
Retoo ER1230 is a rechargeable fabric shaver engineered to remove lint, pills and fuzz from clothing and upholstery. It provides 5 W of power and three selectable speed settings to adapt to delicate knits or thicker fabrics. The cordless design and compact form factor make the device suitable for spot treatments at home, on upholstered furniture, cushions and during travel. Its rechargeable battery eliminates the need for constant cable connection and supports quick maintenance and restoration of fabric appearance.
The Retoo ER1230 combines a low-noise motor with three speed levels to offer controlled de-pilling on various materials. Its cordless operation and lightweight build ensure easy handling for targeted use on sleeves, collars, sofa surfaces and travel garments. The device's 5 W power output balances effective shaving performance and gentle treatment, helping to preserve fabric structure while reducing visible pilling.
The Retoo ER1230 is intended for surface-level de-pilling and general maintenance; it may not be suitable for removing heavy felting, deep snags or permanent fabric damage. Very fragile, loosely woven or highly embellished textiles should be treated cautiously or avoided to prevent accidental fabric distortion. For very large upholstery jobs or industrial-scale textile work a higher-capacity or corded machine may be more efficient.
Charge the shaver according to the manufacturer's instructions before first use. Select an appropriate speed setting based on fabric type — use a lower speed for delicate knits and a higher speed for thicker fabrics. Lay the garment or upholstery flat and hold the device at a shallow angle, moving it across the surface with gentle, even strokes. Empty the lint container regularly to maintain suction and cutting performance. Inspect the fabric periodically while working to avoid over-shaving.
Use the lowest speed on delicate items and test on an inconspicuous area first. Keep movements gentle and avoid pressing the blade head firmly into the fabric. Regular short treatments preserve fabric appearance better than aggressive, infrequent shaving. Store the shaver charged or partially charged if used regularly to ensure readiness.
