Tank model REVELL Leopard 2 A6/A6M assembly kit, scale 1:72, length 152 mm
Tank model REVELL Leopard 2 A6/A6M assembly kit, scale 1:72, length 152 mm
Plastic assembly kit of the REVELL Leopard 2 A6/A6M tank in 1:72 scale. The finished model measures approximately 152 mm in length and reproduces the characteristic silhouette of the Leopard 2A6 family, including the longer L55 gun and modern external details. The kit contains parts for hull, turret and external fittings, and offers options to build either the A6 or the mine-protected A6M variant. Intended for hobbyists and modelers, the kit requires modelling tools and glue and is not suitable for children under 36 months.
The kit uses a new mould tool to deliver finely detailed surface structures with a realistic non-slip coating and accurate external fittings. Tracks are supplied as a two-part flexible assembly for improved authenticity, while the turret is rotatable and the main gun elevates for dynamic display options. Smoke grenade dischargers, designed as the current 6 x 2 arrangement, and optional open turret hatches add to the model's realism.
Carefully remove parts from the sprues using appropriate cutters and clean any mould lines with a hobby knife or fine file. Test-fit components before applying modelling cement and assemble the hull, turret and external fittings following the included instructions. Fit the two-part tracks and ensure the turret is aligned if you want it to rotate. Painting is easier when sub-assemblies are prepared separately; prime surfaces first, then apply base colours and detailing. Allow adhesives and paints to dry fully between steps.
Use compatible plastic model cement and thin brushes for fine detail painting. For enhanced realism, apply primer, base coat, wash and dry-brushing techniques; consider aftermarket decals or photo-etched parts for additional detail. Keep small parts away from young children and work in a well-ventilated area when using solvents, paints or adhesives.
