Fixed-wing aircraft model Revell Spitfire Mk.II 1:32
The Revell Fixed-wing aircraft model Revell Spitfire Mk.II 1:32 is a plastic model kit that reproduces the iconic Supermarine Spitfire Mk.II in 1:32 scale. The kit contains finely moulded parts, decals and an illustrated assembly manual to guide builders through construction of a detailed display model with moving propeller, separate cockpit parts and realistic surface detail. With 115 parts the completed model measures approximately 28.6 cm in length with a wingspan of about 35.1 cm, representing the Aces High Iron Maiden scheme and including two pilot figures.
The kit offers 115 detailed plastic parts and faithful decals for the Aces High and Iron Maiden versions. Essential accessories such as adhesives, paints and a brush are included to support assembly and finishing. A clear step-by-step instruction manual is supplied to help both beginners and experienced modellers assemble the model accurately. Two pilot figures (sitting and standing) are provided to add character to the finished display.
Follow the illustrated assembly manual step by step, identifying parts by their sprue numbers and cleaning moulding burrs before glueing. Use the supplied adhesive and paints to secure and finish parts; allow sufficient drying time between stages. Assemble sub-assemblies such as cockpit, fuselage halves and landing gear separately, then join them according to the instructions. Apply decals after the paint has fully cured and protect delicate details during handling. Work on a clean, well-lit surface and keep small parts organised to simplify assembly.
For best results, use modelling tools such as a fine hobby knife, tweezers and sandpaper to remove parts cleanly from sprues and to refine fit. Apply thin light coats of paint and allow thorough drying before handling. Store decals flat and apply them to a smooth, gloss-finished surface to avoid silvering. Keep adhesives and paints out of reach of children and follow manufacturer safety instructions.
