When it may not be suitable

The MetroX Pro Advanced is not designed for outdoor scans or long-range surveying; its working distance is 200–400 mm and it is optimized for indoor, controlled-light environments. Color capture is limited to automatic turntable mode, so projects that require full-color handheld scanning will face limitations. Very large objects that exceed the 1 × 1 × 1 m maximum scanning volume will require segmentation or alternative scanning solutions.

How to use

Set the scanner on a stable tripod or use it handheld depending on the object size and accessibility.
