The Ricoh WG-80 is a compact outdoor camera with a rugged, waterproof chassis engineered for use in demanding conditions. It offers 16 effective megapixels from a 1/2.3" back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a 5× optical zoom starting at a 28 mm (wide) equivalent, Full HD movie recording, and a 2.7‑inch monitor with an Outdoor View setting for improved visibility in bright or low light. The camera is rated waterproof to 14 meters for up to 2 hours, freeze proof to −10 °C, shock proof for drops up to 1.6 meters, and crush proof against forces up to 100 kgf.

How to use

Charge the battery and insert a compatible memory card before use. Select the required shooting mode from the mode dial or menu—choose Underwater mode for submersion up to 14 m, Digital Microscope for close-up shots, or High Speed Movie for slow-motion capture. Adjust Ring Light brightness in macro shooting using the five-level control; enable the six LED lamps around the lens for additional illumination.
