The Ricoh WG-80 is a rugged compact camera designed for outdoor use, offering waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof and crush-resistant protection. It features a 16 MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor, 5× optical zoom starting at a 28 mm (35 mm equiv.) wide-angle, and Full HD video recording. The camera is built for harsh conditions with waterproofing up to 14 m for 2 hours, shock resistance to 1.6 m drops, freezeproof operation down to −10 °C and crush resistance up to 100 kgf.
