RILAK NOVAKOR Alkyd primer in light grey, 2.7 L is a solvent-based preparation formulated to improve adhesion of finishing coatings and to provide a uniform, absorbent base for topcoats. The alkyd binder offers good film formation on a variety of substrates including bare or previously painted wood, ferrous metal, and other rigid surfaces. The product enhances corrosion inhibition on metal and helps achieve improved topcoat coverage, uniform finish and long-term durability when used as part of a compatible paint system.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, loose paint and rust. For metal, remove loose rust and scale and degrease the surface before priming. Stir the primer thoroughly before use. Apply evenly by brush, roller or spray in one or more coats depending on substrate condition and required coverage. Allow adequate drying time between coats and before applying the chosen topcoat, following recommended drying conditions for temperature and ventilation.
