Acrylic lacquer RILAK EKOAKVA 0.9 L — water-based protective finish
RILAK EKOAKVA Acrylic Lacquer 0.9 L is a water-based protective finish formulated for interior use on wood, painted surfaces and furniture. Supplied in a 0.9‑litre container, the lacquer forms a transparent, durable film that improves surface resistance to everyday wear and makes cleaning easier. It is suitable for application by brush, roller or spray where a clear, low‑yellowing topcoat is required.
This acrylic lacquer is water‑based, offering low odour and faster drying compared with many solvent‑borne finishes. The transparent finish preserves the original colour and texture of the substrate while adding abrasion and moisture resistance. It is compatible with common interior coatings and is designed to produce a smooth, even surface with good adhesion and resistance to cleaning agents.
Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose particles. Sand glossy or uneven surfaces lightly and remove sanding dust before application. Stir the lacquer gently before use; do not shake vigorously to avoid air entrainment. Apply with a quality brush, foam roller or spray gun in thin, even coats. Allow recommended drying time between coats; additional coats improve durability and surface build‑up. Clean tools with water immediately after use.
Apply at moderate room temperatures and relative humidity to achieve optimal film formation. Test compatibility on a small inconspicuous area when using over existing coatings. For furniture and high‑use surfaces consider two or more thin coats rather than a single thick coat to enhance abrasion resistance and ensure an even, transparent finish.
