Air conditioner outdoor unit Rittal 3305.548 — cooling 1600 W, 400 V, 50 Hz, 950 m³/h airflow, factory thermostat 35 °C
Rittal 3305.548 outdoor air conditioner is designed for industrial cabinet and enclosure cooling where a wall- or outdoor-mounted unit is required. With 1600 W of cooling capacity and an airflow rate of 950 m³/h, this grey unit maintains controlled internal temperatures for electrical and electronic assemblies. The unit is built for three-phase 400 V, 50 Hz power systems and is supplied with a factory-set thermostat at 35 °C. It includes energy-efficient Blue e technology with an integrated controller and electric condensate evaporation for reliable operation in exposed locations.
The unit delivers steady 1600 W cooling while providing a high airflow of 950 m³/h to ensure even temperature distribution inside cabinets. Its integrated controller simplifies temperature management and reduces the need for external control hardware. Designed for outdoor installation, the enclosure meets protection requirements for exposed environments and the electric condensate evaporation feature removes condensate without external drainage at higher output classes. Three-phase 400 V operation supports industrial power setups and the factory thermostat setpoint eases initial commissioning.
This outdoor air conditioner is intended for electrical and electronic enclosure cooling and may not be appropriate as primary space air conditioning for occupied rooms. It requires a three-phase 400 V, 50 Hz supply and may not be suitable for installations with single-phase or different voltage systems without appropriate supply conversion. For environments needing cooling below the factory thermostat setpoint out of the box, additional control adjustments may be necessary.
Mount the unit on a suitable external wall or cabinet exterior following local mounting and clearance requirements. Connect to a three-phase 400 V, 50 Hz supply sized according to local electrical codes and ensure proper circuit protection for the stated starting current. Set or verify the thermostat setpoint (factory set to 35 °C) using the integrated controller, then start the unit and monitor enclosure temperatures until stable. Periodic inspection and cleaning of intake and discharge areas will help maintain airflow and cooling performance; follow manufacturer service intervals for electrical and refrigerant system checks.
Verify enclosure heat dissipation needs and allow margin above calculated heat load; maintain free airflow around the unit and perform regular filter and coil cleaning. Confirm electrical connections and protective devices are sized for the stated starting current to avoid nuisance trips or supply issues.
