Air-cooled Condenser Rittal SK 3311363, Steel Housing, White, Cooling Capacity 20000 W, 230 V
Rittal SK 3311363 is an air-cooled condenser in a white steel housing designed for use with LCP DX refrigerant-based cooling systems. Engineered for industrial refrigeration and enclosure climate control, this condenser provides a nominal cooling capacity of 20,000 W and is intended for outdoor roof or wall mounting alongside LCP DX units. The unit includes an external condenser and fan assembly to reject heat effectively from electrical enclosures and climate control equipment.
The steel housing offers mechanical robustness and corrosion protection in typical industrial environments while the air-cooled design simplifies installation by avoiding water or glycol circuits. Operating at standard mains voltage and frequency, the condenser integrates with LCP DX systems to deliver consistent cooling performance for high heat loads. Its external fan and condenser layout enable direct heat rejection and straightforward maintenance access.
This external air-cooled condenser is not intended for use in systems that require liquid cooling or closed-loop water/glycol heat exchangers. It may be unsuitable where very low ambient temperatures, extreme airborne contamination, or restricted airflow prevent effective air-side heat rejection. For installations requiring integrated free cooling functionality, verify whether the free cooler variant is required for LCP DX/FC combinations.
Mount the condenser on a suitably rated roof or wall structure that provides secure support and adequate clearance for airflow. Connect refrigerant lines and electrical supply following the LCP DX system manufacturer’s installation instructions and applicable local codes. Ensure correct electrical protection and disconnects are in place before energizing. Commission the condenser as part of the complete LCP DX system, checking refrigerant charge, airflow, and system pressures to achieve the rated cooling capacity.
To maintain performance, schedule periodic inspections of the condenser fins and fan for dust, debris and corrosion. Keep inlet and outlet airflow paths clear and follow the LCP DX system service intervals for refrigerant and electrical checks. Where ambient conditions are harsh, consider protective measures or selecting the free cooler variant if system design requires it.
