Mounting plate Rittal SV 9683.562, steel, single piece, panel mounting
Rittal SV 9683.562 is a single-piece steel mounting plate designed for secure panel mounting and equipment installation inside electrical enclosures and control cabinets. The flat, robust steel surface provides a stable base for attaching components such as DIN rails, terminal blocks and small control devices. It is intended for direct attachment to the functional space side panel and is suitable where a durable internal mounting surface is required.
The one-piece steel construction offers mechanical stability and good load-bearing capacity for mounted components. As a plain panel mounting plate, it simplifies installation by providing a continuous, even surface for drilling, cutting or fastening accessories. Steel material ensures resistance to deformation under normal cabinet loads and contributes to reliable earthing when properly bonded.
This mounting plate is a plain steel panel and does not include pre-cut apertures, brackets or accessory fittings; additional machining or accessory parts may be required for specific device interfaces. It is not a finished front or external panel and therefore may not be appropriate where aesthetic finish or corrosion-resistant coatings are required for exposed environments.
Position the mounting plate inside the enclosure against the functional space side panel and secure it using fasteners appropriate for the enclosure design and material. Mark and prepare any required cut-outs or drill locations for mounted devices, DIN rails or cable entry points. Ensure the plate is properly bonded to the enclosure earth if electrical continuity is required. Use suitable corrosion protection or surface treatment if the plate will be exposed to aggressive environments.
For reliable installation, measure internal clearances and mounting hole positions before drilling. Use compatible fasteners and bonding techniques to maintain mechanical strength and electrical continuity. If equipment weight is significant, distribute loads across multiple fastening points or consider additional reinforcement.
