Tire Pressure Gauge Rockforce RF-SDG-17, 0–12 bar range, analog handheld
Tire Pressure Gauge Rockforce RF-SDG-17, 0–12 bar range, analog handheld
The Rockforce RF-SDG-17 is an analog handheld tire pressure gauge with a measurement range of 0–12 bar. Designed for checking and monitoring tyre pressure on cars, light trucks and motorcycles, it combines a clear, easy-to-read dial with a durable metal housing and a standard valve connector for direct attachment. Its compact, portable form makes it suitable for roadside checks, routine maintenance and pre-trip inspections where a simple, mechanical gauge is preferred over electronic alternatives.
The RF-SDG-17 provides immediate analog readings without the need for batteries, ensuring reliable operation in any conditions. The clear dial marking enables quick interpretation of pressure values, while the metal housing increases resistance to impacts and wear. The standard valve connector fits most vehicle tyre valves for convenient use, and the 0–12 bar range covers pressures common to passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and many motorcycles. Its handheld format allows easy storage in a glove compartment or tool kit.
Remove the dust cap from the tyre valve, press the gauge connector firmly onto the valve stem until the connection is sealed, and read the pressure value from the dial. Hold the gauge steady during reading to avoid parallax error. After taking the reading, withdraw the gauge, replace the valve cap, and store the gauge in a safe, dry place. If the measured pressure is outside the recommended range for your vehicle, adjust tyre pressures according to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
Check tyre pressure when tyres are cold for the most accurate results and avoid taking measurements immediately after long driving or high-speed runs. Store the gauge in a protective pouch to protect the dial and connector from dirt and impact. Periodically inspect the connector and housing for damage to maintain accurate readings.
